Concert Fantasy and Fantasy Petite will perform two spectacular nights of dance performances featuring nearly 1000 performers ages 3 to 18 years old.  The award-winning dance benefits will be held on Saturday, August 9th and Sunday, August 10th  at Cashman Theatre.

Concert Fantasy, Inc., a Nevada non-profit corporation dedicated to furthering the arts in Southern Nevada, sponsors this family-oriented program which features many genres of dance. There’s a special a tribute to the ballet version of Sleeping Beauty, jazz and tap production numbers to Will Rogers, the music of Hannah Montana and Celine Dion, and exciting performances from other musical film favorites such as Hairspray and High School Musical.  Concert Fantasy and Fantasy Petite are produced by the Fern Adair Conservatory of the Arts, Nevada’s largest school of Performing Arts.  Inspired performances by kids of all ages combined with a high-tech stage extravaganza featuring state-of-the-art video rear projection and a variety of special effects make this an experience like no other.

All net proceeds from this event go to Concert Fantasy Inc., which makes donations to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Nevada and scholarships for further educational opportunities for children in the arts.  Tickets can be purchased from Fern Adair Conservatory of the Arts by calling (702) 458-7575.  Ticket prices are $17.00 and $20.00.

Donation Presented to Make-A-Wish Foundation

New Acrobat Dance Classes at

Fern Adair Conservatory of the Arts

Fern Adair Conservatory of the Arts announces new Acrobat Dance classes.  The Acrobat dance class will include stretching and contortionist work for increased flexibility and agility.  Controlled moves such as handstands, elbow stands, limbers, and walkovers are taught.  Basic tumbling skills and dance elements are also included.  This class will enhance the dancer with flexibility and strength.   Classes are Thursdays, 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm.

Christine Haynick – Instructor

Christine owned her own dance school for twenty-eight years in Pennsylvania and proudly tells of her students’ accomplishments performing on world tours, on Broadway, studying on scholarships and performing with major ballet companies.  Her students hold prestigious titles through Dance Masters of America.  Christine held the title of Vice-President of the Cecchetti Council of America, is an active member of Dance Masters of America, a choreographer for Dance Masters finalist presentations and teaches all phases of dance.
