Daily Class Schedule
Classes are 50 minutes each allowing a 10 minute break and class change.  Scheduling allows for snack and lunch time as well as high activity and low activity, i.e. aerobics next to music or gymnastics next to theatre, etc.

Youth Aerobics
A specially designed program for children as a wake-up, stretch, greet-the-day.  The specially designed music for children may include one of their favorite cartoon characters singing or their favorite pop artist song.

Gymnastics
Girls and boys full gymnastic facility usage.  Instruction includes skills at a challenge level appropriate to the individual ability.  A "safety first" program may include uneven bars, high beam, tumbling, etc.  A non-competitive program where fun and self-esteem development are stressed.

Jazz
Jazz dance, a favorite of the day, is taught to popular music.  Although technique is introduced, the flavor of the "beat" is a high pleaser to the younger set.

Creative Movement
Students will experiment with the expression of body movement to music and rhythms.  Imagination is stimulated to coordinate movement with scarves, balloons, parachutes, rhythm sticks, etc.

Theatre
Acting fundamentals to include mime, monologue, stage direction and character development.  Some students will study stage make-up, costuming and direction.  Each camp will present an improvisational performance or  short play.

Ethnic Dance
Basic introduction to the dance of different cultures.

Tap
The coordination of making sounds and rhythms with the feet while moving with the music is a fun experience.  (Special shoes are NOT required for the camp experience.  Tennis shoes or sneakers will be fine.)

Modeling
Girls and boys will study the technique of modeling for fashion shows.  Poise and self-confidence in appearance will be gained as the students perform for their friends.

Lunch Breaks
Students are to bring a "snack lunch" from home.  Available in the vending area of the Conservatory is a selection of drinks (milk, fruit juices and soda), and misc. sandwiches and snacks.
